I wanted to bring some cute treats for my daughter's preschool class. I had one major oops occur that I didn't catch until I was assembling the characters. I had accidentally bumped my size dial and change the size of the witches outfits and hats by a quarter of an inch. Being late when I did this, I had to just go with the flo and be happy with it. But I do oh so love the girlie googlie eyes with eyelashes. Way too much fun. I know the 3 year olds won't care too much about presentation. But I had fun being crafty and got some great therapy.
Best Friends Imagine Cartridge and Cherry Limeade Lite
-background paper p 37 with no overspray even thought this was selected. I still had overspray on one end, which cleaned up really easy with a baby wipe.
-clouds from page 40 went as large as I could, using the preloaded shape filled. Setting the size about 9 both ways and got what measured 9 1/4" x 11 1/4".
-little girl from page 3 and sized her at about 4" with a change of color for both dress and shoes.
-name plate used from page 13 and page 19. Changed the larger one's paper. Sized about 3"
- little bird from page 13 set at 2"
-flower on page 17 set at 1.5"
-Font was from Cherry Limeade Lite cartridge. Also used Tim Holtz Walnut Stain distress ink. And distressed all of my edges and used it on the blue ribbon to tone it down to blend in better. I absolutely adore this page and hope you do to!
A birthday card for my brother in law. A little info, he's a band director and used to conduct their local wind symphony. Ther are alot of music professionals in my family. I am some what the odd ball. I have a degree in art however I conduct the handbell choirs at my church and I was in band thru my college years.
Okay moving on. This card is another "Imagine Card" and I separated the parts and combined the music paper to go in the center. This is from the More cartridge and I also used pop dots to pop the layers up to give it more interest. The edges are also distressed with brown chalking ink from Creative Memories. Hope you like it and now it has to go in the mail, his birthday is in three days! Take Care!

Entry for the first cricut circle blog weekly challenge. This is the first challenge I have
ever entered. Had to use French Manor cartridge, make at least 2 cuts and use gems. Now can you tell what I worked hard at doing with the cuts for the Fluerdelis? Hint: notice the papers pattern.
I am a mom of three, graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Design Communication. Anything to do with art feeds my soul. I also direct the handbell choirs at my church and have been a director there for 10 years. Although I have played Handbells for 26 years. It is one of my passions mainly due to my mother being a handbell director too.
